I vote for the Paranormal board too...anyone suggested it yet?
I firmly believe in ghosts, spirits, whichever name you want to give them. My sister has had several very unsettling episodes during which she saw a ghost. The first was upon my the anniversary of my grandmother's death (we weren't aware of the significance of the date until later). My sister was born only a few weeks after our grandmother died so they never knew each other. One night my sister saw this old lady near her bed, reaching out to her...then she smiled and disappeared. That was it. We think it was grandma coming back to see the grandchild she missed out on. My sister also suffered from migraines. One night she was waiting for a ride (we lived way out in the country) and she was approached by a girl her age wearing old fashioned English riding gear. This girl calmly told my sister she had been killed by her horse by a blow to the head and everyone had blamed the horse when it was just an accident. She disappeared and from that moment on my sister's headaches never bothered her again. Wierd stuff.
While I have not seen a ghost myself I do know I have felt a definite presence before. The first house I owned had been previously owned by a hermit lady. She died in the house, alone, it was renovated and I bought it. Numerous times I would be in the basement doing laundry and I could feel someone watching me. I used to shrug if off as an over-active imagination until I would watch my animal's reactions when I felt it. My dog would start to whimper and boot it up the stairs as fast as she could (man's best friend, indeed) but my cat would freak! That's what made me start to think I wasn't just crazy but that they felt a presence as well. It got to the point where I would say hello to her anytime I went in the basement....but it really freaked me out, I have to admit.
