I've been a 60 mage for ~60 months and I've raided MC and BWL.
Patch for mages SUCKS...ASS...
Lowest dps of caster classes
lowest health
lowest mana
most gear dependancy of caster classes
least util spells (no fear, no single root, no controllable stuns, our CC regens enemies to full health, and our only root is on a 25 sec cool down and it's AE)
our damage tree 31 pt talent (fire: combustion) requires extended period of fire spell nukage for it to be fully utulized, yet fire tree gives a mage almost NO survival mechanisms...
etc...
I rerolled a UD priest on a different server.
