I don't know if this is realistic. As an amateur photographer, I have been in
exactly this situation and I get really pissed off at these overprotective parents. I don't even understand their paranoia and I think they are nothing short of absolutely stupid. I can't very well ask the entire park to clear out because I want to photograph it, not to mention it's the people in the park that make the park interesting.
Personally, I don't think photographers need to be sensitive to the issue, I think parents should grow a brain if they are to raise children...
