In the episode a couple of weeks ago where they showed how all of the main players ended up in prison they showed the doctors back story. She was a doctor in a hospital that had a drug and alcohol problem. When she was unable to help a dying person at the side of the road because of her addictions she entered rehab and went into the prison system as an act of repentence. (maybe I'm reading more into it
)
I forgot to add in my post previously that I like the end of the show where all of the escapee's had a few moments to reflect on why they wanted to get out of prison. Untill I saw T-Bags, his was creepy!
