One suggestion I read was that you can't buy the kind of press coverage that they just got from changing the name. You figure every major gaming site, the forums of said sites, and every other semi-technical website is now talking about this name change.
My girlfriend won't touch the xbox because there are too many button combo's, or its too confusing or whatever... but I know she and I both can not wait for the Wii to come out so we(Wii) can play those old school games again.
