I was talking to my brother on Google Talk, and told him about this, and made a fun little typo... I mean to say, "The new name for the Revolution is WII!" but I wrote "The new name for the Revolution is WWII!!"
Yes, this new Nintendo console is World War II. Longtime Nintendo fans are declaring war on the name, anyway. Yet another example of how incredibly stupid and poorly thought out this name was. Like I said before... so many opportunities for this to be completely misunderstood.
