Thats not the play I'm talking about. That was clearly not a goal, and it was the right call. I'm talking about the play near the end of the 1st where Roloson intentionally skated out of his crease, at least 10 feet, and ran himself into the shoulder of Holmstrom who was leaving the zone, and then threw himself on the ground, as if Holmstrom had checked him to the ice. Roloson received a diving penalty, as he should, but Homlmstrom received a goalie interference penalty on top of the other BS penalty he received earlier in that play for Jason Smith setting a moving pick on him. This is what set up what would eventually turn into a 5-3 after Chelios chucked the puck over the glass. Detroit killed the remainder of the period, but began the next period still 5-3, and Oilers scored the 3-1 goal.
I am in no way questioning how well the Oilers are playing against Detroit, only that play in particular, which is in my opinion, absolutely disgusting. Things like that are why more people don't watch Hockey.
