If this is the case, I'd say don't worry about it- go to your OBGYN if you'd like a second opnion, or call up their office and just see if you can speak to a nurse. If the ONLY thing that's going on is the cramping- no spotting, no abnormal discharge, no pain during sex, then it really sounds like nothing. Getting your doctor's opnion is really the best thing to do, however.
