The numbers are little deceptive on that issue, I think.
The first half of the season Montreal's goal production was weak; the latter half it really seemed to improve, playing in front of a goaltender they could rely on.
Having said that, they lack a game-breaker type player - an Ovechkin, Jagr, Cheechoo, type guy.
