Can't agree with you. I think this is the best season yet. 24 is a really intruiging mirror of American culture, and American life, and this season isn't any different.

I do agree with this. This season is much different. All previous seasons always seemed to be celebrating American culture, offing foreign terrorists, and supporting the war on terror (which are things I absolutely don't do, but I still liked the show), but this season it is the Administration that's the bad guy, it's not foreigners at all, and the war on terror isn't even a factor. I think the writers saw public opinion for the Bush administration and the War in Iraq going south in a big way, and cleverly adjusted the show accordingly. Hence why I think this is the best season yet. I understand the show is doing better than ever, as well.
