Good game 1 in Raleigh today. It's hard to say what happened to the Carolina Hurricanes, other than the fact they ran into a hot goaltender. They looked like they were playing a very good game. They chased the puck, made some good passes, and had more than twice the amount of shots on goal than the Canadiens. They just couldn't put the puck past Huet.
Of course, Carolina could just be realizing something that Ottawa has known for far too long. A fantastic regular season record means dick all in the Playoffs.
