I like the twist with Heller. I don't think it was the right move for him to make, but it's interesting. I don't think he's behind anything either, like some people have been speculating. He wanted the arrest warrant for Jack immediately rescinded and his daughter not harmed. If he wanted to protect himself, he knows to kill Jack immediately.
The only thing I didn't like about the episode was the ending. Is it just me, or couldn't Heller have shown the letter of resignation the President was about to sign to the Vice-President? Sure it's not signed, but the President was about to sign it, so he would have had to explain that to the VP. I think it would have been more believable for the President to have wiggled out of that situation if the unsigned letter wasn't sitting on the desk.
