Like most religious holidays for me, it has more to do with family than its true meaning. I do take the time to think about the importance of sacrifice though.
Do you have a t-shirt that displays a silly message, completely unrelated to who you are or what you represent? I got one as a present that says "Life is simple: Eat, Sleep, Play Pool!" (the i's are dotted with pool balls). I think the last time I played pool, was in a bar over 2 years ago.
I wear it as an undershirt.
