While I liked the movie and will likely get it on DVD, I think there were poor choices made regarding some of the changes:
Spoiler: The end fight. Evie's boss. All but removing most of the bad guys. The 1000s of Fawkes masks. The elimination of V having access to the government computer systems. Evie being all but removed from the ending. Adding the Muslim & Bird Flu bits seemed as though they were trying way too hard to drive home the central point of the story that should have been obvious to anyone.
I got a snicker out of the credit line: Based on the graphic novel illustrated by David Lloyd. When the author wants to distance himself so much from a movie, that really says something.
But I'd recommend it, strangely enough.
