To my ignorant eyes - it looks like Australian aboriginal rock art. Perhaps ~10,000 yrs old.
Are you in the US? My guess is that the aboriginals found your country, did some artwork then sailed back.
My partner thinks it looks like a discarded condom - but she's confused about the colours, pattern, and the size....
