Not in this case, actually. If you own (or rent or lease) a property and are looking for a roommate, you can be as discriminatory as you want, as they are technically your "guest". If you own a house and are looking to rent or lease it to someone else, or sell it outright, you cannot be discriminatory (though it's hard to pin this on individuals). Also, you cannot discriminate based on any protected aspect in regards to approval of loans required to get a house.
However, putting an ad in the paper stating "Looking for white, 20-something, blonde girl for "happy ending" roommate fun" may seem "discriminatory" but is not against the law.
