The 6800 GS is basically a 6800 GT for a smaller pricetag. My brother plays Oblivion on his 6800 GT and it runs great. I really don't think a 6600 GT would be giving you that much trouble in Oblivion unless you have the settings maxed out though. Do you have at least 1 GB of RAM and a nice CPU?
