You can't be further north and west and still be on Cape Breton.
You can't be west a little bit and hit Newfoundland.
But the soil is a little reddish, so not Quebec proper.
Therefore, I conclude that it must be Madaline Island. Er, I mean "Iles de la Madeleine".
But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me again that
