That is getting there, it sort of is helpful.

What I am looking for is (report for my detail oriented boss) is..

Snowfall during the month of xx in xx County: xx inches
Total precip during the month of xx in xx County: xx inches

Something like that...

I know the NWS does not have weather stations in every county of every state, but I know there are alot of weather observers that report the data on a regular basis.
