Do you have to take the door apart to put them on? I have the mirrors still attched to the car (hanging inside the window) so I thought it might be worth trying to glue them. I called a replacement mirror place and they told me that their new ones have to be painted and then you stick them on with some kind of double-sided tape. If I could just get the tape then I could reattach the original mirrors and not have to go to the trouble of having them painted. Any suggestions?
