I built a machine on that board with an Athlon 64 3200+. It's a very solid board, with easy setup and installation. It doesn't have a lot of overclocking prowess... but it's also a midrange board, so that's typical.
I haven't had any problems with that motherboard so far, and it's been in the machine... 10 months or so at this point.
