I picked Victoria, BC. I'd love to write in OBX. There are parts of it off the beaten path that are amazing. The regular parts are still lovely, albeit touristy up until October.
Other than that, I'd also echo Mal's Castle In The Clouods. I checked out the website and do believe I am smitten.
