Plus, the wizards will lead you through many basic actions. You won't want to use them later on when you know what you're doing, but in the beginning they're helpful.
There are often community ed classes about computer literacy, program use, etc. Google your area.
Most of what I learned was from playing around in there trying to find out how to make it look like I wanted it to. I can email you a document of basic information if you pm me your email address ( I did it for what we call a Lunch and Learn presentation here at work.)
