Well, I just did a little back of the envelope calculation. At the rate we're going, we'll finish the 50,000 comfortably by the end of May, but not
way ahead of schedule. I think a good challenge would be to increase our output by about 50%. I hereby decree the new goal to be 75,000! I have faith in the TFP's ability (and will) to rise to a challenge. And, well, if lots more people join in and it looks like we'll arrive ahead of schedule again, I can (and will) just make the number even bigger... and
bigger and
BIGGER and....
A-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
*ahem*
...excuse me.
The point is to encourage those of us who regularly do push-ups to do more of them or to do them more frequently or more consistently or all of the above, AND to encourage anybody who doesn't already do push-ups--whether it's because they aren't strong enough yet or they
are and they just never get around to doing any--to start doing them regularly (again). I suspect there are some people out there who do a lot of push-ups all the time and think they shouldn't contribute to this thread for one reason or another. To those people I say JOIN US. (I'll just make the number bigger, remember?) To everybody who's posted in this thread already: keep on trucking, my friends. I know you have more in you.
