I couldn't agree more... A better example than Andromeda would be Farscape. A much larger production budget and a more complex story line. Where is it now?
X-men has he themes and stories that would make HBO worthy. The problem is, sci-fi shows don't draw the same numbers.
...but one can dream.
PS: I am trying to forget that Mutant X was ever made.
