I love this argument. People disagree socially and economically and suddenly it's them being swayed against their interest. Please, the number of jobs that are controlled by unions is falling because unions have a BAD history of sapping large % of income while destroying the industry, and thus the amount of jobs, while getting very little in return.

[4]How come the "new south" and other, more rural, "red state" constituencies, acted so "impacted" by the 9/11 attacks, that they backed the "War prez-nut" without question or dissent, and agreed to such expensive, aggressive, and wide ranging responses, when the area of impact was so remote from where they lived, was so contained, and had such a tiny impact on their day to day lives, while the folks living near "ground zero" failed to trust Bush, and half believed that he and his administration lied about what it knew before the 9/11 attack, and how earnestly it defended the area military and provided post disaster aid to surviving family of attack victims, for rebuilding, and for actual future security to cities most likely to be "hit"?

Because the South is
extremely patriotic. The South reacted in much the same way as if someone had raped our sister, grab the rifles and "lets get 'im". There's a reason Recruters love the Southern states. A buddy of mine had to fly to California (from Texas) when a woman pulled him to the side and a small mob of half a dozen tried to talk to him about what he was doing was wrong. While here in the South if you're wearing a Uniform in the airport people will litterally line up to buy you drinks. These social differences are not to be made into conspiracies.
However your point about the Skulls I agree with, I dont believe it's and Oligarchy.. however there are definately strings being pulled to get their own kind there.
