I had my vasectomy on December 7, 1984 and can tell you that even now at age 57 I still have a pretty high sex drive.
My procedure was done at 3 PM on a Friday. That evening and the next day I lounged around in loose fitting PJ's in mild discomfort, but Sunday morning I awoke ready to have a go with my SO.
I can tell you the procedure was a whole lot easier on me than it was on the ex-wife who had a tubal ligation.
