I'm as big a fan of this series as anyone (I love to watch pompous business nerds get their comuppances), but I couldn't be bothered to watch last night's premier.
While it's always taken some suspension of disbelief to imagine Trump as the pinnacle of business acumen, it's getting harder with every passing season. His hucksterism shows through, the product placements are clumsy and overbearing, and the true fate rewards for the winners are dubious. Martha's clunky edition certainly didn't help the brand.
I'll try and catch up with the Apprentice later on.
