Interesting article...I expected something like this was running in the background. Of course Dubai (among other bidders) would never have been rewarded with lucrative port contracts unless it was doing something valuable for Washington in return, and with Dubai being a Middle-Eastern Arab country it's not too hard to figure out the angle.
What I don't understand is why this isn't just simply explained to the American Public. It was obvious this was a deal made in return for Dubai's cooperation with terrorism -- why not just say so.
