I never used to be into make-up that much, but in the last two years or so I've been wearing on a daily basis at least foundation, a bit of blush and mascara. I like funky eye shadows for going out, but I never tend to get too elaborate - I really like the soft, glowy look.
However, I have a bit of a problem that maybe you ladies could help me out with. I have darkish skin, (not too brown but certainly not white either) - I'd say a kind of fair asian (pakistani) complexion, and I can never choose a good lipstick colour. If I go for muddy red colours or really light, pink colours my lips stand out far too much, and as of yet I can't pull off the bright red lipstick. I have black hair which contrasts quite a lot with my skin colour, but I just cannot find a good colour for my lips. It's truly the bane of my make-up life. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
