Seriously, we saw Brokeback Mountain this week, and it's a clear contender for the Oscar. Heath Ledger (who, frankly, after the jousting movie, I had written off) delivers an amazing performance. Jake Gyllenhaal does too, although that wasn't such a surprise. Totally amazing film.
Hey, Rudel73: there's boobies. There's a whole BUNCH more female nudity in this film than male nudity. I suggest the Pup Tent Rule: every time Heath Ledger goes into a tent, just go to the bathroom for five minutes, and you'll be fine. |
Yeah the girl from Dawson's Creek's boobies no less! I've had the exact same arc as you w/r/t Heath Ledger. For me though I started not hating him because of the Brothers Grimm, not a good movie, but he was pretty good in it.
