It seems that if i plug one computer inot the router i can get it to work. has anyone ever heard of anything like this. Another thing, it seemed to start after a week of having Zonelabs on my pc. Ive since uninstalled it.

1) restart both your router and your modem. Unplug both, leave for 30 seconds, then plug 'em back in.
2) go to a command prompt and type "ipconfig/release" and then type "ipconfig/renew"
3) reinstall zonealarm (you NEED a firewall. Trust me) but make sure you configure it to recognize your network as friendly. Find the ip of your network (look at your network adapter's ip when you do the ipconfig/renew step and take the first 3 sections - i.e. if your adapter is 192.168.2.14, take 192.168.2). Enter it as a trusted ip range of, in our example, 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.2.255
Then enter it as a trusted subnet (192.168.2.1 (again replace this with your network's specifics), subnet 255.255.255.0 (do not replace this - enter this exactly as it's written here)) because sometimes Zonealarm gets pissy if you don't have both of these configured.
If you're still having difficulties run a trace to several different sites, and go to dslreports.com and run their tweak tester.
Let us know if you have further difficulties.
