Sounds like you two need some variations....
You might be rubbing her too hard or not in the right place so she says to stop. She really needs to know her own level of stimulation and the only way she's going to is to do it herself.
The fact that it takes you longer with oral is a good thing. Sex should be fun, it should be passionately hot. If what you're doing now isn't doing it for ya, it's time to experiment. Don't over-emphasize the goal of orgasm-have some fun just doing stuff differently.
