SotC is a fantastic game. It, much like ICO, delivers such a wonderfully whimsical, unsettling atmosphere all throughout and packs a punch at the very end. All in all, though, I think SotC did better with gameplay. It was an experience, taking down a colossi.
Also, as I had it, fruit increases life; tails increase stamina. Could be wrong on that, though-- it's been a while since I've played it.
