Exactly... there's more than one way to win a war... not to mention we'd have essentially the entire world supporting us.
Also, to occupy Canada would take more troops than the USA could possibly muster... to control the population would be impossible. They can't even control a country that's smaller than ONE of our provinces.
Imagine what it would be like if they had to fight someone who looked exactly like them, instead of being able to profile just arabs, they'd be profiling caucasians... Imagine how upset the WASPs will be when THEY are added to the no-fly list
