When I was younger I was BIG into tennis and emulated Jimmy Connors big time. I had the wooden Jimmy Connors racquet, later replaced by the aluminum T2000.
In baseball as a hitter I was a cross between Pete Rose, on the base paths and Mike (The Human Rain Delay) Hargrove, in the batter's box, as a 3rd baseman I was Petey all the way and as a pitcher I tried to be be Tom Seaver.
Any other sport when I was a kid I didn't pay attention to and just played as me.
Today though as I swing a golf club and putt I try very hard to play like my favorite golfer of all time...... the great Payne Stewart..... RIP.
