PCI 2 does NOT mean PCI Express. It just means regular PCI.
For instance, regular PCI slots started out somewhere around, let's say, 1.0. Now, they're up to, let's say, 3.0. The PCI slot is still just a PCI slot, it's just that the technology has improved from 1.0 to 3.0.
PCI-Express is a whole different animal.
