Even brighter is that, due to my laziness, I used System Restore, and my internet on MY computer (I was using my dad's computer to type the thread opener) is working just fine.
Now I just wish I didn't have to wait for yet another item to be shipped to me. My ten-day trial is probably almost over already. But I guess patience is a virtue.
