I've been wondering... Since avo's that are *almost* ripe taste a bit like bananas, are these the ones everyone's putting sugar on?
BTW, just thought I'd mention something I found highly UNamusing when I lived in Fresno, CA... I could not get a decent avocado to save my life. Even the ripest of ripe ones tasted like bananas. I was not a happy girl.
