It helps if you give yourself a solid reason to get out of bed in the morning. I find that if I have an exam for example, and I think about the exam before bed, when I awaken all bleary-eyed, suddenly "EXAM!" pops into my head, and I get a nice electrochemical whoosh from my sympathetic nervous system. Better than caffiene, no lie.
