I know that does not make too much sense, I don't know if I can fully communicate this idea or if I just don't have the words. But its like if there is no continuance, then at the end, it will be like nothing has ever existed because there is
nothing to continue it. So in a sense, if there is a definite and complete end to everything, then it never existed in the first place. Yet we exist, therefore there is a continuance.
That probably didn't clear anything up...
