I felt the same way when Eccleston left, he was so great I wanted more of him. However after seeing Tennant in the role, I'm more excited than ever for the new season (series, whatever  ) to start! As much depth and emotional power Eccleston brought to the role, Tennant's quirky fun personality is right on for the character and so much fun to watch.
