GREAT news for sci-fi lovers today. The new
Doctor Who has been
sold to the Sci-Fi channel and is going to
begin airing in March! Granted, it will be a season behind, but I am SO glad that American audiences will finally be able to see this great series without having to go through the hassle of downloading!
If you're too lazy to read the articles, it will air on Fridays at 9pm ET/PT. The bad news is, the first season of the new Doctor Who was to be released on DVD in the US in February, but that date has now been pushed back to July 4. Personally, I didn't even know there were plans to release the DVDs in the US, so I'm glad to hear that anyway

If you haven't seen the new Doctor Who, be sure to check it out when it starts airing in March. It's truly excellent, and it promises to be even better this second upcoming season with David Tennant taking over the role as The Doctor (which I guess is over a year away to be aired in the US)!
