Yeah, well, maybe if you got a _good_ one, you'd like 'em better. At least half the contributors on this thread are from Serious Avocado Land (aka California) where ready-to-eat bruise-free avocados land in the stores daily at reasonable prices. I just brought home the first California-grown Hass avos of the season: big, ripe-but-not-mushy, unmarked and 99 cents each. Probably didn't travel 200 miles. You fellas out in the midwest probably get those rock-hard, fluorescent green jobs that taste like rubber tires.
