I'd eat for sure. Certain rules don't apply in certain situations. This would be one of those. I don't think I'd kill a healthy person but if they started showing weakness well.. umm dinner time!
Would I tell someone? Sure, the story should be told. The family has a right to know what happend. Hopefully they would understand.
