Holy shit, that was a good movie. When Lucy's in the wardrobe and you first see the pine needles I was made happy. I have some minor complaints, like the almost complete absence of blood (but it's a children's story, so that's fine) and Aslan's voice (but no one was going to satisfy me, I have no idea what he sounds like in my head) and clearly those aren't significant. Brilliant translation of the book. I look forward to Prince Caspian and especially Dawn Treader.

I liked that it did stick so closely to the book. SO and I also noted the complete lack of blood. The battle scenes were really well done. I seriously enjoyed this movie and look forward to the others as well.
