1. in the startup folder in your program list . click start, then all programs, then find the startup folder. all the shortcuts in there will load when windows starts.

also you could,
2. click start, run, type msconfig <enter>. then you should have a startup tab.
that's what windows really loads up. i have like 10-20 files in there but they're all useful. so be careful in removing them.
