So, our local grocery store just had raw shrimp on sale for 4.98 a pound . . .(yay!) I think I've found the easiest, and most wonderfully happy concoction for peel and eat shrimp ever.
Preheat oven to 350 - 375 depending on how dense your dish is.
1 pound of shrimp
2 lemons
1 stick of butter
Old Bay Seasoning
Garlic Salt
Pepper
Coat the inside of a smallish medium sized baking casserole dish with butter, and then melt the rest of the stick.
Rinse the shrimp, drain, and casually throw into the casserole dish (best throw was completed after 2 shots of tequila
)
Sprinkle garlic salt (as much as you like) Old Bay (as much as you like) and pepper (see 1 and 2), pour in the butter, and stir well.
After stirring, sprinkle more old bay on top
Slice one lemon into
thin slices, and juice the other one. Lay the slices on top of the shrimp, then pour most of the juice from the second lemon over the top (save a little juice for after they're done.)
Cover tightly with aluminium foil, and put into the oven for 25 - 30 minutes.
Once done, move the shrimp to a plate, and let cool for 10 minutes, and sprinkle the rest of the lemon juice on top.
