Reading this thread has made me nauseous, in a helpful sort of way I guess. I just had the doc freeze the crap out of a wart on my palm (of all the painful places) and it is blistering up quite nicely, looks a bit bloody underneath the skin though.
I was in the same boat as dlishsguy in middle school. I had a wart on my thumb that would not go away regardless of how many times I froze it or treated it. Then one week it just faded away.
I don't know how much evidence there is for the "seed theory" though.
