I'm not a believer, but since I'm born and raised in Western civilisation I can't escape the Bible. There are three Bible books that tends to pop up every now and then in my life, namely Job, Ecclesiastes, and Tobit. (Tobit is apocryphal though so I don't know if that one counts?) So those are special to me. We got an incredible new Bible translation to Swedish in 2000 that managed to both get rid of a lot of the old misinterpretations and breathe fresh life into the poetry, it's like reading an entirely different text now.
